Ammanford Evangelical Church is so much more than just the meetings that take place. But we understand that meeting together is vital. Here’s an overview of the things that happen on a regular basis. Click on the titles to find out more about each one.
Sunday Mornings:
This is our main meeting 10:30am each Sunday in Amman Valley School. Sunday mornings are an accessible time where you can expect singing, prayer, a sermon and time to chat with others over biscuits, cakes, tea & coffee . The meetings are pretty relaxed so don’t feel you need to dress up (unless you want to of course).
“Rooted”:
These are our house/life/small group Bible studies. They meet at various times and at various locations. The aim of the groups is to encourage deeper relationships within the church and to provide a place where people can actively study the Bible together, ask all the hard questions and apply God’s Word to our lives. Getting Rooted in relationships and Rooted in Scripture. To get involved contact us.
Prayer:
The Church currently holds two regular Prayer Meetings. A weekly prayer meeting takes place every Friday morning along with a fortnightly Saturday prayer meeting in a local coffee shop. For more details contact the office.
Blind:
Once a month a Torch Fellowship Group (for blind people or those who are visually impaired) meets in our Church Building. Lifts are provided to and from the meetings.
Children:
From Sunday School to parent and toddlers there is loads going on for the little ones (we even have creche facilities on a Sunday morning). Times and locations can be found on the Children page.
Youth:
Our youth work is run and organised by our youth volunteer Jamie Hurd. The two main activities are a weekly club and a weekly Bible Study. We also try to make youth and teenagers as welcome as possible in all our other events.
