Summer Recommendations – Prayer

Here are this weeks summer recommendations on the discipleship topic of prayer. Remember, you can download all the apps via your favorite device and the books are available on the Welcome Desk (limited numbers). If the Welcome Desk is all out then you can grab a copy from the church’s online bookstore.

This book has been well loved in our church for a number of years and has helped numerous people come to understand grace in a new and life changing way.

Organise your prayer life with this straightforward and distraction-free app. Every day, Prayer Mate will select a person or topic that you’ve entered from each of your main categories (perhaps “My family” or “My small group at church”) and show them to you as a series of index cards – then just swipe between them to pray.” This app allows you to organise and focus in your prayer life without becoming a distraction.
