The Bibles teaching about the church shows us that no persons should be without food, housing, clothing or care in times of need (Acts 2:46; Matthew 25:35-36).
This is why the hardship fund has been created within our church; to help in these difficult times.
Giving to the Fund:
A portion of our general bank account is set aside in order to meet these sorts of difficulties when they arise. We encourage those who attend our church to contribute financially a free will offering so that finances are available when crisis hit.
In order to give to this fund on a regular basis (i.e. by direct debit) please speak to our treasurer, Aled Jones on a Sunday morning. Alternatively, to make a one of gift, you can text the phrase “HARD16 £XX” (with XX substituted for the amount) to 70070 OR make a donation via the special box on a Sunday morning.
Accessing the Fund:
If you are attending Ammanford Evangelical Church (member or non-member) and you have a specific need for money or you know of someone with a need then please speak to any elder or deacon within the church or to the Hardship Fund Administrator, Charlotte Davies.
Specific needs may be that you or others have bills that cannot be paid, mortgage payments that cannot be met, or money for food and clothing. The hardship fund is a short term solution to be accessed in emergencies. If the situation demands we will try and work with you to find a longer term solution to your difficulties.
